Herkimer, NY.- Monroe's baseball team traveled to Herkimer Community College Saturday, May 1st for a double header matchup between the Generals. The Tribunes lost both game 1 (11-5) and game two (3-2) to Herkimer. With the losses, Monroe moved to 24-8 on the season while the Generals improved to 25-2 on the season.
Game 1:
Trey Brown and Evan Magil both hit home runs and each had two RBI's for the Tribunes.
Game 2:
Max Schmarder had a home run and RBI for Monroe.
The Tribunes will host Herkimer on Sunday, May 2nd for game 3 and 4 at home starting at 1 pm.
