ROCHESTER, NY - The Monroe Community College men's lacrosse team had their season come to an end Tuesday afternoon in a 22-14 loss to Herkimer College. It was a win-and-get-in scenario for both teams with the winner advancing to the NJCAA Region III playoffs. Herkimer led 3-1 after the first and took a 9-4 lead into the half before pulling away.
Ian Kane and Colin Boglione each finished with five goals to lead the attack for the Tribunes. Steven Laframboise added two goals, while Brendan Smallcomb and John Verrioli each added a goal. With the loss, Monroe finishes the season at 5-6.
