Men's Swim & Dive Notches Fourth Consecutive WNYAC Invitational / Regular Season Team Title
Buffalo, NY - The Monroe Community College Men's Swim & Dive Program continued it's historic run in Region III and the Western New York Athletic Conference, capturing their fourth consecutive Regional Title and Dan Dubois WNYAC Regular Season Championship. The Tribunes were undefeated in WNYAC this season and have gone undefeeated for 26 consecutive years, the last time the Tribunes lost to a Region III school in a Tri-Meet was 1999
On the women's side Scarlet Ulatowski had a phenomenal meet setting three records in the 50 Breaststroke (Meet Record, Region III Record, & School Record) solidifying her rank inside the Top 8 nationally in the event.
For Ulatowski, She also set the meet record in the 100-yard IM, 4-time individual Region III Champion in individual events scoring the most points on the women's side earning honor of Swimmer of the year and Region III Athlete of the season.
Achivements from the meet:
-Quinn Kelstone Won the Region in the 1M & 3M dive named diver of meet
-The MCC Women's Team going into the meet were projected at a third-place finish and put together a solid team performance to take second place.
-Henrique Silva Baltazar was a 4x region III Champion in all his events (See Results)
-Micah Stephany won the 500 free style / 200 free style as well
-Men's Relays won – 400 free relay / 200 free relay
-Xander De Roos earned first place in the 200 IM
-Coach Dr. Dale Pearce, John Rodman, Sam Cottrell, & Jasmine VanScooter won Region III Coach / Staff of the year on the Men's Side.
