Muhammad and Simms Named to All-Region Team

ROCHESTER, NY - The NJCAA Region III Directors announced the Division II women's basketball all-region team over the weekend. Khamera Muhammad was named 1st team all-region, while Shanique Simms was named 2nd team all-region. Muhammad and Simms helped lead the Tribunes to the No. 3 seed in the Region III tournament.

Muhammad started 24 games for the Tribs averaging a team-high 16.3 points per game and 12 rebounds per game including seven games with at least 20 plus points highlighted by a 28-point performance against Herkimer on February 8th. Simms played in 26 games, starting 18, averaging 10.8 points per game highlighted by three separate 18 points performances against Finger Lakes, Jefferson, and Jamestown Community College.
