#12 Tribunes Drop Harcum Bears 2-1

ROCHESTER, NY - The Tribunes took care of the Harcum College Bears 2-1, in a decisive victory. The scoring started early when Sam Cipolla (Rochester, NY) scored in the 8th minute from an assist by Kayla Baca (Spencerport, NY). Cipolla scored again a few minutes later in the 15th minute, this time assisted by Saffron Millar (Wanaka, New Zealand), resulting in a quick 2-0 lead. 

The scoring stopped for the Tribunes, however, as the Bears tightened up defensively and became more aggressive offensively. The second half was a reversal of the first half, with Harcum the aggressor taking it to Monroe. In the 73rd minute, Harcum's resilience paid off as they found the back of the net, with a goal from Sofia Arguedas. Despite their efforts, the Bears were unable to equalize as MCC's defense pulled through, with credit to keeper Clare Boesel (Palmyra, NY) having four saves on the game. 

With this win, Monroe continues their unbeaten streak to now to 7-0-1. MCC will face another strong opponent when they travel to New Rochelle to take on the Monroe College Mustangs.
