The MCC Athletics Department was recently given the 2024 Region III Community Service Award, where Coach Pearce spearheaded many leadership initiatives at the college.
Before working full-time in athletics, Pearce worked at MCC as the director of curriculum development and apprenticeships in workforce development. He has over 15 years of academic advisement experience and has led various programs at the College in Skilled Trade Areas like HVAC, Advanced Manufacturing, Construction, Mechatronics, and other CTE areas. Coach Dale recently graduated with his Educational Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. He holds a Master’s in Athletic Administration and graduated from SUNY Brockport with a degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education.
Dale contributes his experience as a former NJCAA student-athlete to drive him into a career in higher education, coaching, and athletics. He was inducted into the Genesee Community College Athletic Hall of Fame 2015 as a 14-time CSCAA All-American Consideration. At SUNY Brockport, he was a team captain for the SUNYAC All-Conference 2nd Team. In his spare time, Dale likes to skateboard and train for triathlons, but, most importantly, he spends time with his family. He and his wife Meghan have two children Nolan and Delany.
