ROCHESTER - The MCC volleyball team overcame an early deficit to defeat Niagara County Community College three sets to one in a Western New York Athletic Conference volleyball match Tuesday evening.
The Tribunes got off to a sluggish start and dropped the first set 25-11. Monroe then battled back to take the next three, 25-17, 26-24, 25-10 to claim victory. MCC is now 11-6 on the season.
Julie Cicotta registered a double-double to lead Monroe, tallying 10 kills and 11 digs on the night. Stephany Paredes came up with six kills and four blocks, while Miley Davila added 15 digs and three aces.
Hannah DeLorenzo dished out 21 assists on the night.
